I asked Claude for the best music, movies, and television in every genre, and it came back with 2,269 of them. This is that list, cleaned up and made searchable.

It splits two ways. 1,699 songs across sixteen genres, each with a one-click Apple Music link, plus a way to load every one of them onto your phone at once (below). And 570 movies and shows, each with a link to wherever it is streaming right now. Every pick has a single line on why it is here, in Claude's own words.

Fair warning, since it is going in the archive: these are a machine's picks, not a critic's. The canon it reaches for first is the obvious canon, and the deep cuts run only as deep as its training. Treat it as a very long, very fast starting point, not a considered best-of.

The one-button part

Load all 1,699 songs onto your phone at once

One button copies every song as a plain "Artist - Track" list. Paste that into a playlist-transfer service and it rebuilds the whole thing inside Apple Music or Spotify in a few minutes, no typing.

Copy the list. It lands on your clipboard as one song per line.

Open a transfer service. TuneMyMusic or Soundiiz. Choose a plain-text / CSV source and paste the list in.
Point it at your music app. Connect Apple Music (or Spotify) once as the destination and let it match. It builds one new playlist.
Keep it out of your real library first. In Apple Music, turn off "Add songs to Library when adding to playlists" (Mac: Music > Settings > General; iPhone: Settings > Apps > Music). That way this audition pile stays separate.
Audition on shuffle. The playlist syncs to your phone over iCloud. Play it, and only tap Add to Library on the ones you actually like.
Delete the playlist when you're done. Only the keepers stay behind.

The links go to Apple Music and to JustWatch (which shows every service a title is on today, so it never goes stale). Built from two catalogs an AI generated, then resolved against the Apple Music and JustWatch APIs so the names and links are real. A snapshot from July 2026.
