I asked Claude for music, films and television to try. Here are its selections, with short descriptions and music lists you can copy.

I asked Claude for the best music, movies and television it could name across genres. It returned 1,699 music entries and 570 films and series. This page preserves those selections and makes them searchable.

The music spans fifteen genre groups, from jazz and electronic music to opera and regional folk traditions. Search for an artist, title, album or description. The music filters preserve the original division between familiar territory and new suggestions; the screen list’s stars mark Claude’s “essential” selections. These are judgments from the original list, not ratings based on my listening or viewing.

The captions have been edited to describe arrangements and plots, with repeated praise and unsupported claims removed. Apple Music links may open a particular recording, remix or live version; some open a search. Music years are the dates supplied for the linked Apple entries, which can differ from original release dates. Screen years identify the film or series’ debut. JustWatch links open U.S. availability listings, which can change.

Selected catalogue checks

Pärt’s catalogue identifies Für Alina as a piano work; its two musical voices do not require two pianos.
Universal’s recording catalogue credits the familiar “Albinoni” Adagio to Giazotto.
Sony’s release notice places Freddie Gibbs and Madlib’s Crime Pays on Bandana, rather than Piñata.
Criterion’s film page gives Cléo from 5 to 7 an 89-minute running time; its depicted afternoon covers about ninety minutes.
A24 dates Ex Machina to 2015 and names Alex Garland as director.
JustWatch’s Ring page identifies Nakata’s 1998 film. The previous link opened the 1995 adaptation.
Film co-director checks include A24’s Daniels credit, Sony’s three Spider-Verse directors and National Geographic’s Free Solo credits.

Copy music into a playlist

The buttons copy a plain-text list in Artist - Track format. A separate service matches those names to its music catalogue. It may choose a different recording or fail to find a track.

Copy the names. Each entry occupies one line. These buttons always copy the full music selection, regardless of the filters below.

Import and review the matches. In Soundiiz, choose Playlists, Import Playlist, then From Plain Text. Its current free plan limits a transfer to 200 selected tracks, so the batch buttons fit that limit. TuneMyMusic also accepts text lists. Limits and paid options can change.
Choose a destination. Connect Apple Music or another supported music account through the importer and create a playlist. Check missing tracks and version matches before accepting the result.
Check Apple Music’s library setting. Before importing, review whether adding playlist songs also adds them to your library. In the current Mac guide, this control is under Music, Settings, Advanced, labeled “Add & Delete Playlist Songs.” Labels vary by system version. Turn off automatic library additions if you want to assess the playlist first.
Listen on another device. Apple’s Sync Library instructions require an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscription, the same Apple Account and Sync Library enabled on each device. Synced access does not itself download songs for offline listening.
Keep the music you like. Add individual songs to your library as you listen. Apple’s Mac guide says deleting a playlist leaves songs already in the library there.

The selection dates from July 2026. Captions and selected metadata were revised in October 2026; not every recording, plot detail or credit has been independently verified. Music links use the U.S. Apple catalogue, including search links when a recording is unresolved. Availability varies by country and can change. Film credits name directors; series credits are selected creators, directors or presenters rather than a complete crew list.
